Each counsellor has their own weekly schedule, however, the below times provide an indication of when we have a counsellor on duty.
Central Auckland Centre:
- Monday 9 am – 3.30 pm
- Tuesday 9 am – 5.30 pm
- Wednesday 9 am – 5.30 pm
- Thursday 11 am – 5.30 pm
- Friday and Saturday 9 am – 3.30 pm
- Sunday – closed
North Shore Centre:

How long is each counselling session?
Approximately 50 – 60 minutes for individuals, up to 90 minutes for family sessions.
How often do counselling sessions happen?
We are a short-medium term counselling service. The frequency of appointments may be weekly or fortnightly, as determined by you and your counsellor.
How much does each counselling session cost?
We aim to make our counselling accessible to all. We ask our clients to make a voluntary contribution towards Home & Family Counselling based on their Total Household Income.
