RECEPTIONIST – North Shore

Home & Family Counselling is seeking an experienced receptionist to join our fun team who is on a mission to help improve the mental well-being of Aucklander’s.  This is a great employment opportunity with a generous remuneration package and a supportive and collaborative working environment. Based at our Northcote office.

Hours are:

  • Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday – 8.45 am to 5.15 pm
  • Friday – 8.45 am to 1.15 pm.

The successful applicant will have

  • Ability to provide a warm, welcoming reception to all our clients and visitors·
  • Ability to maintain an efficient computerized client booking system, sensitive to the needs of our clients and counsellors
  • Experience in working with Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Knowledge of Auckland social services, though training will be provided
  • A can-do attitude and is a team-player
  • Excellent communication skills both oral and written

COUNSELLOR / TRIAGE COUNSELLOR – Mount Eden

Home and Family Counselling, an established and well-respected not-for-profit agency that provides short-medium term counselling has a vacancy at their Mount Eden site for an experienced counsellor. Home and Family offers a great employment opportunity with a generous remuneration package. The ideal applicants will work from a systemic perspective and be able to work with Families, Couples & Individuals. This is a 4-day position and includes one day of triage counselling.

Hours are:

  • Tuesday & Wednesday 10.45 – 6.45
  • Friday & Saturday 8.45 – 4.45

The successful applicant will have:

  • Counselling qualification or other appropriate qualification
  • Professional membership
  • Proven experience of working with Families and Couples
  • Skilled at assessing risk and safety
  • Excellent communication, both oral and written
  • Commitment to completing all administrative requirements to a high standard
  • Computer Savvy
  • Supportive team member
